Geocache Description:

Though there was probably a church in Langham prior to 1066, the earliest parts of the present building date from the 13th century. 14th century work in the church is attributed to Simon de Langham, though no proof exists. The church of St Peter and St Paul, Langham, is said to be "a fine specimen of various styles of Gothic architecture" with a number of interesting features. Of the six bells, the oldest is a late mediaeval bell carrying the Latin inscription: If you would like to add to the Church Micro series yourself then please look here http://churchmicro.co.uk/ There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page that can be found at http://www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/cm/index.html
