Vallon du Couloubrier
(The small valley of the river Couloubrier)
The river Couloubrier is just over 14km long and is a tributary to the larger river the Argens which has a length of over 115km.
Couloubrier dries up in summer and the surrounding area changes completely. It is well worth visiting this hidden beautiful place at different times of year to witness the cyclic changes.
The track from the parking area will take you through an awe-inspiring pine grove with a local 'boule' playing area. By following the trail next to the river you will soon get to the cache hiding spot.
Afterwards you can continue along the river trail and turn right on Boulevard des Bouillerettes just after the barrier gate, walk up the road and turn right on Boulevard du Couloubrier, right on Rue des Bergeronnettes which turns into Impasse des Hirondelles with the parking area at the end.
