Staines Methodist Church can trace its origins to John Wesley’s visits to the town from 1771 onwards. The first chapel was erected in 1854 and they moved to the location you are at now in 1987.
The published coordinates will bring you to the front of the church, and here you will see a commemoration stone ' To The Glory of God' laid on Saturday April 25th 1987. However across the top of the stone you will see 4 other dates (years)
