Piękny las na terenie, którego znajdują się dwa rezerwaty przyrody "Balczewo" i "Rejna". Rezerwat "Balczewo", to faunistyczny rezerwat przyrody, zajmujący powierzchnię 24,40 ha. Został on utworzony w 1963 roku w celu zachowania siedlisk ptactwa błotnego i wodnego. Rezerwat "Rejna", to florystyczny rezerwat przyrody o powierzchni 5,80 ha. Został utworzony w 1962 roku w celu zachowania naturalnego stanowiska wiśni karłowatej. Spośród innych roślin chronionych należy wymienić dziewięćsił bezłodygowy, kokoryczkę wonną oraz przytulinę północną. Las Balczewski stanowi obszar chronionego krajobrazu jako borowy kompleks leśny porastający wydmy i pola wydmowe oraz uroczy zakątek leśny w pobliżu leśniczówki Balczewo. Miejsca te są od wielu lat celem wycieczek dla licznych miłośników przyrody. Dla nich przy głównych traktach usytuowano parkingi, ławki, itp. Na terenie kompleksu leśnego znajduje się ścieżka przyrodniczo-leśna "Balczewo-Rejna", utworzona w 2005 roku z myślą o przyjemnym i pożytecznym spędzeniu czasu przez coraz liczniejsze grono odwiedzających te wspaniałe ostępy leśne. Pozwala ona lepiej poznać cele i funkcje lasu oraz daje możliwość wypoczynku i relaksu. Rozpoczyna się przy leśniczówce Balczewo, a kolejnymi przystankami są m.in.: zrąb, cis pospolity - gatunek drzewa, które jako pierwsze w historii Polski zostało objęte ochroną gatunkową, rezerwat przyrody itd.
Opis postaci:
Źródło Delta to źródło danych dzięki któremu wielki admirał Thrawn zyskał tajne plany Nowej Republiki. Znajdowało się ono w Pałacu Imperialnym na Coruscant.
Wielki admirał Thrawn wykorzystywał źródło delta jako źródło najtajniejszych informacji dotyczących posiedzeń rady na Coruscant. Strzegł tajemnicy czym jest to źródło.
Źródłem delta w rzeczywistości było zgrupowanie drzew Chala połączonych cienkimi rurami z długą zakopaną 8 metrów pod ziemią tubą. Mechanizm działał, gdy wywierany był na niego nacisk także ten od fal dźwiękowych.

Balczewo Forest is a protected landscape area with nature-forest path called "Balczewo-Rejna", which was created in 2005 for pleasant and useful spending time. It allows you to better understand the objectives and functions of the forest and gives you the opportunity to rest and relax.
Character description:
Delta Source was the codename of an Imperial intelligence source during the early years of the New Republic. It proved essential to providing inside information to Grand Admiral Thrawn, which he used to further his campaign against the fledgling Republic.
A remnant of Emperor Palpatine's reign, Delta Source was one of many hidden systems scattered across Coruscant that the Emperor used to monitor his courtiers and officers. The system was composed of twin rows of ch'hala trees in the Grand Corridor of Imperial Palace. A communications tube buried in the taproot of one of the trees converted the audio-activated ripples of the tree into sound. The converted signals were then transmitted over maintenance chatter.
During his campaign, Thrawn leaked information about the existence of Delta Source, causing the New Republic leadership to believe that there was a traitor amongst their ranks. Later investigation led Winter and Zakarisz Ghent, tasked with uncovering the source, to believe it was a mechanical espionage system (with blame even briefly falling upon the shoulders of droids), until Leia Organa Solo discovered the ch'hala trees' purpose while watching a droid pruning its leaves.
Although the Rebel Alliance and New Republic did not discover Delta Source until Thrawn's leadership of the Empire, the spy system had actually been in place since before the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
