Piękny las na terenie, którego znajdują się dwa rezerwaty przyrody "Balczewo" i "Rejna". Rezerwat "Balczewo", to faunistyczny rezerwat przyrody, zajmujący powierzchnię 24,40 ha. Został on utworzony w 1963 roku w celu zachowania siedlisk ptactwa błotnego i wodnego. Rezerwat "Rejna", to florystyczny rezerwat przyrody o powierzchni 5,80 ha. Został utworzony w 1962 roku w celu zachowania naturalnego stanowiska wiśni karłowatej. Spośród innych roślin chronionych należy wymienić dziewięćsił bezłodygowy, kokoryczkę wonną oraz przytulinę północną. Las Balczewski stanowi obszar chronionego krajobrazu jako borowy kompleks leśny porastający wydmy i pola wydmowe oraz uroczy zakątek leśny w pobliżu leśniczówki Balczewo. Miejsca te są od wielu lat celem wycieczek dla licznych miłośników przyrody. Dla nich przy głównych traktach usytuowano parkingi, ławki, itp. Na terenie kompleksu leśnego znajduje się ścieżka przyrodniczo-leśna "Balczewo-Rejna", utworzona w 2005 roku z myślą o przyjemnym i pożytecznym spędzeniu czasu przez coraz liczniejsze grono odwiedzających te wspaniałe ostępy leśne. Pozwala ona lepiej poznać cele i funkcje lasu oraz daje możliwość wypoczynku i relaksu. Rozpoczyna się przy leśniczówce Balczewo, a kolejnymi przystankami są m.in.: zrąb, cis pospolity - gatunek drzewa, które jako pierwsze w historii Polski zostało objęte ochroną gatunkową, rezerwat przyrody itd.
Opis postaci:
Qui-Gon Jinn był jednym z mistrzów Jedi w schyłkowym okresie Republiki. W dzieciństwie odkryto w nim zdolność posługiwania się Mocą, po czym został zabrany na szkolenie do świątyni Jedi na Coruscant. Jego nauczycielem został jeden z najzdolniejszych Jedi tamtego okresu, hrabia Dooku. Po otrzymaniu tytułu rycerza Jedi zdobył sobie opinię osoby często mającej inne poglądy, niż Rada Jedi, która mimo to ceniła go za jego osobowość i dokonania. Był outsiderem, którego postawa stanowiła jednak wzór dla wielu innych członków Zakonu.
W roku 32 BBY Jinn podczas misji ochraniania królowej Amidali udał się na Tatooine, gdzie odkrył zdolnego i wrażliwego na Moc niewolnika, Anakina Skywalkera. Uznał że to on jest przepowiadanym od dawna Wybrańcem Mocy, po czym uwolnił go i zabrał na Coruscant. Zginął niedługo potem na Naboo, zabity przez Lorda Sithów, Dartha Maula. Przed śmiercią poprosił swojego ucznia Obi-Wana o podjęcie się szkolenia młodego Skywalkera, co miało bardzo brzemienny wpływ na dalszą historię galaktyki.

Beautiful forest in which there are two nature reserves "Balczewo" and "Rejna"."Balczewo" is the faunistic nature reserve, covering an area of 24,40 ha. It was created in 1963 in order to protect the habitats of mud and water birds. "Rejna", is floristic nature reserve with an area of 5,80 ha. It was created in 1962 in order to protect the natural position of the dwarf cherries. There are also other protected plants such as: Dwarf carline thistle, angular Solomon's seal and Galium. Balczewo Forest is a protected landscape area with nature-forest path called "Balczewo-Rejna", which was created in 2005 for pleasant and useful spending time. It allows you to better understand the objectives and functions of the forest and gives you the opportunity to rest and relax.
Character description:
Qui-Gon Jinn was a male human Jedi Master born on Coruscant during the declining days of the Galactic Republic. Trained by Count Dooku, Jinn was considered a maverick within the Jedi Order, one who did not always follow the Jedi Code; according to his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jinn could have been a member of the Jedi High Council if he had followed the Code. In the years prior to his death, Jinn began studying the secrets of eternal consciousness after death, having long been a student of the Living Force.
After the Trade Federation blockaded Naboo, Jinn and Kenobi were sent by Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum to negotiate a peaceful outcome to the situation. The Federation, at the behest of Darth Sidious, attempted to kill the two Jedi, forcing Jinn and Kenobi to the planet where the Federation was launching its invasion. The Jedi rescued Queen Padmé Amidala and sought refuge on Tatooine, where Jinn discovered a young slave boy named Anakin Skywalker. Through his podracing skills, midi-chlorian count, and supposed virgin birth, Jinn came to believe that Skywalker was the Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force.
Jinn brought Skywalker to Coruscant where he requested that the boy be admitted into the Jedi Order for training. The Council rejected the request, however, believing that Skywalker was too old, so Jinn vowed to train Skywalker even without the Council's approval. Jinn later returned with Kenobi and Amidala to Naboo, where they fought to liberate the planet from the Federation. During the final battle, Jinn and Kenobi fought Darth Maul, and the Sith Lord fatally wounded the Jedi Master. In his final moments, Jinn told Kenobi that Skywalker was the Chosen One and asked that Kenobi train the boy as a Jedi. His funeral was later held on Naboo.
In death, Jinn was able to utilize his incomplete immortality training to return as a disembodied voice. His spirit spoke to Yoda, the Grand Master of the Jedi Order, and told Yoda he was chosen to learn the secrets of eternal life. This set Yoda off on a journey, where he began to learn the training that Jinn himself had gone through. After the fall of the Jedi Order, Jinn guided Yoda and Kenobi, both of whom learned to physically manifest as spirits to aid Luke Skywalker in becoming a Jedi Knight.
