Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the posted coordinates.

You don’t need to be a caching legend to find this cache!

Klamath Falls is very fortunate to have a prolific, and charter member of the geocaching community: H2o z.

Known for creative caches, he’s also a world traveler with finds throughout the United States and Europe. To best know him, perhaps we should consider some of his finds!

A good cacher knows when and where to cache – this often means everywhere and now. For instance, while on vacation in Nevada, he took the time from getting gas to find Tonopah back in 2003. Caches, like All Christian, where he admired the container and left bugs so they could continue their travels. He must’ve liked that location quite a bit because he later placed a cache there himself! Another great cache location is Child’s Forte! He’s even found caches that would never be allowed to be hidden today. Look at the description and CO’s logs for Tricia’s Birthday! It was buried under a tree and had food placed in it when first hidden. Did that stop our guy from finding it? Nope! What a caching legend!

Remember AOL disks? People in this area loved using them “back in the day” and some of them still exist as smithdw or Rooster- hides. H2o z found one of these back in March of ’04 and tried to keep A Duck Hunting spot well hidden from others.

Caches don’t need to have a physical hide to find, they especially make good caches to find when you are on a short trip out of state, like when H20 z found Lee Vining.

Finally, if you’ve ever been to a cache hidden by H2o z, or found one after him, you’re sure to find a “spiffy handiwipe” left for your convenience. He’s also a role model for other cachers when it comes to supplying needed materials in caches, such as logs, baggies or the stubby pencil, like when he visited One More By Us or dropping off his eponym, like when he found Snagle.

Thanks for all the hides H2o z, hope you enjoy this one!
