This is a Little Bridges multi-cache in the Frome Valley. Two trail-head waypoints have been given to start you on the correct path to the bridge.(Which path you choose to use is up to you). The co-ordinate at the top of the page is for the bridge, where you have to gather the following facts:

A. How many stiles are at the bridge?

B. When on the bridge, how many levels are there to enable you to get over the bar?

C. Looking to the left, what type of tree has hollows at its base? Record the number of letters in your answer.

D. What is the generic material of the bar? Record the number of letters in your answer.

E. What is the generic material of the bridge? Record the number of letters in your answer.

Answers checksum = 17

Substitute the following letters for your numbered answers and do the calculations to find the cache co-ordinate:

N51 (B) (D - E) . (C) (A + B+ C) (E) W002 (C) (A) . (B / C) (A + C) (D + B)

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.
