LE CANAL DE LATÉCOÈRE

Le canal transaquitain a été ouvert à la navigation en 1840. Le canal fait la liaison des lacs Cazaux-Sanguinet-Biscarrosse et Biscarrosse-Parentis. Aujourd'hui il mesure 6km de long sur trois tronçons, avec une largeur de 10 mètres  et une profondeur de 4 mètres, il permet aux navigateurs de plaisance la possibilité de se balader entre les lacs.

(ING) The canal was opened to navigation in 1840. The canal makes the connection Lakes Cazaux-Sanguinet-Biscarrosse and Biscarrosse-Parentis. Today it measures 6km long by three sections, with a width of 10 meters and a depth of 4 meters, it allows boaters the ability to walk between lakes.
