Geocache Description:

This is a short loop that can be completed as an addition to the Dylin trail or as a short walk itself.

I often walk these paths with my geo-hound Dexter who likes go that bit further than Dylin hence Dexters Extras.

This cache is a micro

These 8 caches are all a lot more difficult than those on the Dylin Trail. They are all either Micro or nano size so there will be no room for swaps or TBs. Please bring a pen with you as no signature will mean no smiley!

If walking the Dylin Trail you will need to turn right at the top of the hill after completing No. 7. Now you know where this track leads to!

If you are completing the Extra as a seperate trail I suggest you park in the layby between Dexters Extra Nos. 6 & 7. Parking co-ordinates are N50 34.243 W003 42.285 you will then start at No.7 go to No. 8 then on to this one and follow the trail back to No.6.

The lane up from Dylins Trail No.7 & 8 is quite steep and very uneven. It can also get quite muddy in wet weather. There are some fantastic views when you look back but the best can be had from the gateway on the left at the top of the hill.

The lane up to here from No. 8 is even steeper and as the bed is slate can be very slippery when wet so please take care.

You will be looking for a crafted hide here and it may be difficult to spot for some cachers.

After finding this one carry on along the lane to the next. This lane is called Tipleyhill Lane and as it runs along the top of the hill the views over the valley to your left are very good (when the hedge has been cut).
