Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the published coordinates (Do not go in the pond!) but is located a short walk away and can be located on dry land. In order to find this cache you will need to solve some related clues which will give you the correct location. A connection should be sought between all of the clues, however there may be a few red herrings along the way. (note: any decimals should be rounded to whole numbers).

The location

The cache is situated within the Elvetham Heath nature reserve which comprises of 48-acres of trees, trails, streams and ponds. The reserve was created in 2001 to enhance habitats such as heath and marsh land. The reserve is both an ecological resource and an amenity for residents who regularly walk the dogs or cycle the public access routes throughout the reserve via a series of clearly marked paths. The reserve provides a habitat to numerous species including many wild ducks and geese which are regularly fed by excited children. Picnic tables are also situated around the pond, so feel free to take the family out to see the elaborate carved wooden furniture.
