I am proud to be one of the 4 competitors chosen for the Pælesidning Competition (pole sitting).
After 3 days (72 hours) sitting on a pole, it is now time for the END.
I am doing this because it is a perfect way to test my patience and my stubbornness, because I just think it is one of those crazy things that fits perfectly with my character, but besides all that, I am doing it because I want to promote geocaching and cycling. I plan to use the prize money (20.000 DKK) to buget my future Geocaching Bike Trip across Europe (#GBTE2017).
Yes, that is what it's all about: in July 2017 I plan to leave on bike (again) across Europe. This time through 15 countries, over 6500 km and all the caches along the way, including some very old ones, the very rare webcam and virtual caches but also T5 climbing caches. It's going to be the trip of a lifetime and you can't even begin to imagine how enthusiastic I am about it. Very soon you will be able to read more about this journey.
Besides the prize money, I hope this contest will help me spread the word about this future trip and what I am trying to accomplish. And that is also why I made these geocaching events. Please, come visit me and help me reach my goal! Your cheers and support are very important and will be much appreciated
