Na zona das coordenadas da earthcache deverá ver vários afloramentos de quartzo leitoso.
1 - Sabendo que a densidade do quartzo é, aproximadamente, 2,65 g/cm3, das opções apresentadas qual é a mais aproximada para a massa do bloco rochoso nas coordenadas da earthcache?
a) 40 t; b) 20 t; c) 2 t; d) 200 kg; e) 20 kg
2 - Aproximadamente a 3 metros para Norte, existe uma rocha onde se vê, nitidamente, dois filões de quartzo. Inclua uma foto sua a apontar o filão cuja matriz rochosa envolvente é significativamente diferente do filão. Pista: é um filão com 1 cm de largura.
3 - Qual é a direcção, em relação a Norte, desse filão? E é o ângulo que esse filão faz em relação à horizontal?

1 - Knowing that the quartz density is, roughly, 2,65 g/cm3, from the options below, which is the most correct for the rock mass at the earthcache coordinates?
a) 40 t; b) 20 t; c) 2 t; d) 200 kg; e) 20 kg
2 - Approximately, 3 meters North, there is a rock where one can, clearly, see two quartz veins. Include, in your log, a photo of your finger pointing the vein that is surrounded by a significant different bedrock. Hint: it’s a 1 cm wide vein.
3 - What is, regarding North, the vein direction? And the angle between the vein and a horizontal plane?
