Given the current issues we are facing and how reports suggest that Covid-19 can remain viable and infection of some surfaces for days after contamination can I suggest that people remember to sanitise their hands before and after finding the container and signing the log book. The main priority here is that we should always stay safe.
The St Philip and St James was built in 1867, in the Gothic Revival style was originally a chapel of ease for the Dilton Marsh church, however after the boundaries were redrawn in 1924 it became part of the Corsley ecclesiastical parish. The church is built of stone and comprises chancel, nave, south porch, and small western belfry containing 2 bells. The architect was G. E. Street.
