International Geocaching Day is August 20!

It’s time to start planning for one of the biggest holidays of the year. Saturday, August 20 is International Geocaching Day! It’s the perfect day to get outside, find a few (dozen) geocaches and spend time with your fellow players.

And new this year: Trackables competing in the HQ Duck Dash are racing to events held on International Geocaching Day. You can participate in the race by hosting an event of your own on August 20 — and enjoy watching some Deadly Ducks waddle across the finish line.

Plan your event and visit Shop Geocaching to pick up their new lineup of International Geocaching Day swag.

This event will take place from 10h00 - 10h30 on Saturday 20 August at area.

The published co-ordinates are for the area.. The event will end at about 10h30 Groundspeak is producing a special souvenir for International Geocaching Day, and this souvenir will be given to all who find a cache or attend an event on this day. This event is open to all geocachers and their families, no matter how long you have been caching. A special invitation is extended to all newbies and also to visiting out of town geocacher
