The Puzzle

North Wales is home to Penmon Priory. It is the site of an historic monastery and associated 12th-century church. The walls near the well (see the photo below) next to the church may be part of the oldest remaining Christian building in Wales. This monastery was established in the early 6th-century by Saint Seiriol. You can still see the cross and font from this monastery in the 12th century church that still stands at Penmon.
