Geocache Description:

Greetings from NY. I have been coming to this area every year for the past ten years to vacation. I know your caching names from the logs, but I figure now its time to meet the locals. This is a great spot to meet and hang out for a bit. I hope to see you there.

This is an event to bring local cachers together and some passerbys for a meet n greet at the Chesterfield Gorge Natural Area. I can't stay long so this one will be short and sweet. We shall meet from 3:15pm to 4:15pm. Before ending I would love to take a group picture. Please mark your calenders for what I hope to be a great time.

Chesterfield Gorge Natural Area spans 13 acres. It offers great opportunities for hiking as you explore the footpaths along the gorge and enjoy the scenic views.

Operating Schedule

The parks visitor center and store is opened and staffed everyday from 9am-5pm until Sept 7th and then Friday, Saturday and Sundays until November 1st. There is a pit toilet available year round. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available. This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting
