Smoke Signals is an Independent Film Directed by Chris Eyre released in 1998. It's an unique all Native American production. Adam Beach, Evan Adams and Gary Farmer are the main stars. It's about 2 Native Americans on the Coeur d'Alene Reservation. They go on a trip to retrieve Victor's Father's ashes and truck. The last scenes were filmed on one of the bridges over the Spokane River in Riverfront Park. If you go to the front of the store up by Sprague Avenue and look to the left you will see a Denny's sign. In the film Victor's Father would bring Thomas to Spokane to Denny's for the Grand Slam Breakfast. The White Elephant Store has also been used by North BY Northwest a local Film Production company for numerous filmings.

This GeoTour will send geocachers on a trip through Spokane, finding caches in areas where movies, TV shows, music videos and more have been filmed. Visit movie sets, restaurants where characters dined, homes where actors lived and much more while seeking wonderful new adventures.
