Welcome one and all, to the Ugly Bug Ball
This triangle of woods is cut off from the rest of Banstead Downs by the A2022. It had become very neglected until the Winkworth Woodland Community Project was formed in February 2016 by local volunteers who cleared away debris and rubbish to make a pleasant alternative to walking along the main road.
Name change to Ugly Bug #1:
The Ugly Bug Ball was a nice idea using old tennis balls as caches. Unfortunately squirrels enjoyed them a little too much so I have reverted to traditional click lock boxes containing Ugly Bugs. Please leave these in situ.
I have kept the name Ugly Bug Ball and each cache will be numbered but not necessarily in any particular order. This is so I can add to the series as the fancy takes me.
