Geocache Description:

This is a cache to replace one that was here before, you will need a pen happy hunting. There is no need to enter station property.

Gunton is a railway station on the Bittern Line which connects the city of Norwich to the North Norfolk coastal towns of Cromerand Sheringham in East Anglia, England. There is no village of this name, the station being actually situated in the parish of Thorpe Market. Gunton station was built primarily for the convenience of Lord Suffield who lived at nearby Gunton Hall, a major investor in the original East Norfolk Railway Company[1] which built the railway from Norwich to Cromer.[2] Gunton's station buildings are now preserved but are privately owned.
