For andre år på rad arrangeres Vikingevent på Egge gård i Steinkjer. Vi er en helt ny arrangørstab, og vi tar også denne gangen sikte på at det skal bli et stort og kjempeflott event. Vikingevent 2017 blir et innholdsrikt event med variert program: Du vil treffe geocachere fra fjern og nær, du kan delta på kurs, handle i geocachebutikker og hos andre tilbydere på eventplassen samt finne informasjon om de mange cachetrailene i området. I forbindelse med eventet blir det publisert en rekke nye cacher i ulike varianter, noen av dem både spesielle og utfordrende. Det blir aktiviteter både for voksne og barn. Tilbud om museumsbesøk og omvisning på Egge Gård og gravhaugene i nærområdet blir det også. Se hjemmesiden for program. Natt til 4. blir det arrangert Boot camp ved gapahuken i økoskogen fra klokken 20:00 til 24:00. Her blir det muligheter for grilling av medbrakt mat. Vi håper dere vil bidra med allsang og festlig stemning. Ta gjerne med gitar eller andre instrumenter dere behersker. Parkering for Vikingeventet er på Egge, Steinkjer (Eggeveien 40, 7725 Steinkjer). Selve eventet er gratis å delta på, men om du ønsker det kan du bestille en pakke som inneholder diverse artikler (se hjemmesiden for informasjon og bestilling). We are a brand new organizer staff, and we have the intentions of making this a great experience for everyone. Viking Event 2017 will contain a varied program where you can meet geocachers from all over the world, attend courses and also shop in geocache stores among other providers in the event area. You will also find information of the many cache trails in the surrounding area. In conjunction with the event it will be published numerous caches in different varieties, some of them both special and challenging. There will be activities suiting both children and adults. You can visit Egge Museum and participate in our guided tour showing old Viking graves, and telling some of this place's history. See our website for further program. Event opening time: 10:00-20:00 There will also be arranged a Boot camp (0800 pm to 12:00 pm) June 4th. You can bring your own food for the barbeque and have a good time together with other geocachers. If you like, you are welcome to bring an instrument of choice, perhaps a guitar.
