Petit Seats, Grand View Traditional Geocache

This journey to this geocache follows a trial through the midst of lush green forest with rock formations that were at one time used carved for the building of Lacoste. In and round these rock formations you will find interesting graffiti crafted by young adults who sought moments of reflection, detachment and independence. 

Walking away from the Chateau you will find a dirt road that turns into a collection of trails. The trail runs along a collection of rock faces that were used for quarrying purposes long ago. As your follow this trail there will be a collection of protruding bluffs and sheer cliff faces. After 4 minutes of walking you will encounter a small abandoned home to your left. If you continue to follow the trail you will be rewarded with great views of the villages of Goult, Gordes, and Mount Ventoux with its bare limestone top. Once you reach the location you will discover a collection of short stone made benches. Take a moment to have a seat and enjoy the view.
