Geocache Description:

JDLC1936 #40---RIP JDLC1936

On April 22 2015 our good friend and fellow geocacher Jim Clark (JDLC1936) lost his short but courageous battle with cancer.

A friend of us all and stranger to none is the best way I can describe Jim. He lived life to the fullest and made a lasting impression on all of us.

This series was created and is dedicated to the memory of Jim Clark and the footprint he left on the geocaching community.

Each cache is named after something that we can all remember Jim for. This cache is the last cache of this series. Hopefully this series would have made Jim proud and he would have enjoyed them.

Until we meet again Jim........

RIP JDLC1936

***A HUGE thanks goes out to the Clark family for allowing this series to be placed and the use of the photos that Jim took while caching.***

***This cache is located at a residential area so please be mindful of the times you look for this cache. Please only look for this cache during daylight times.***

The FTF on this cache has been saved for JDLC. It has been such a long time since I have seen a new cache with his famous signature 1st in the logbook, so I am setting this cache aside just for him.

A HUGE thanks goes out to Jim's wife Betty for allowing me to replace the cache at this location, and to Frank of dazedandconfused for creating the final cache for this location. I think Jim would have got a kick out of the container and would have admired the effort that went into it!

Please feel free to take a picture with the 2 items that Jim was known for (just not in front of the cache to not spoil that surprise). These 2 items were the actual items Jim carried and wore. These are not swag so please do not take them and place them back where you got them
