Geocache Description:

Deep inside the Lower Cathedral Valley of Capitol Reef National Park are The Temples of the Sun and Moon. They are iconic, larger than life and beyond compare. However they are also located in one of Utah's most remote locations. This geocache is placed along the Caineville Wash road in a location that can be accessed year round, BUT... IF you plan to go further your excursion will be well rewarded!! Consider this a trailhead cache.

Be advised, it would be best to check in with the local BLM office in Hanksville or the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor's Center at Fruita for road and weather conditions before you go. Cathedral Valley is not a good place to get stranded in!!

Be safe. Be prepared. Come back safe and sound!
