Factory Butte is one of Wayne County's main landmarks, and has been popular with off-highway vehicle owners for many years. The area is ideal for ATVs and motorcycles. The land surrounding Factory Butte is a barren region that is void of plants and vegetation, but filled with spectacular challenges for motorcycle riding and other OHV use. The area is also perfect for cross-country travel, and has vast flat expanses combined with hills and slopes with knife-edge ridges for riding. Commonly referred to as "Swing Arm City" by locals and visitors alike, this area has been featured in many moto-cross videos.
