Geocache Description:

This is a wherigo cache. You will need a wherigo capable device to complete this cache. For more information on Wherigo caches, visit Wherigo.com or check out my Wherigo Cheat Sheet.

Note: this cartridge was successfully tested using a smartphone, but not on the GPS units. This is a fairly basic cartridge, so "hopefully" there aren't many bugs that would cause a GPS to crash.

Parking for the first zone is available at the posted coordinates. Since the first zone is within a public park, please limit your hunt to daylight hours only.

This tour can easily be done on foot, but you can drive between zones as needed. We ask that those who walk use common sense and use the crosswalks when crossing busy roads. A parking zone near the final will be available for those who drive.

While playing the cartridge, you will get the opportunity to read many of the historical markers that appear throughout the Kempsville area and answer some questions along the way. These questions can be multiple choice, true/false, or fill in the blank. It's not meant to be difficult, but hopefully you'll learn a thing or two. When you answer all the questions correctly, you will receive the coordinates for the geocache.
