mattd2k looks forward to welcoming you to the 100th Monthly Mid-Week Meet in Sussex. Come and celebrate the longest consecutive monthly caching meet in the UK (maybe even the world?). There will be a few caches placed in the area to commemorate this milestone, as well good old fashioned pub quiz on the night so best thinking caps on, you might even win a prize!

I have reserved the seating area to the left as you go in through the main door. It is not the largest pub and if the attendance is anything like the previous Monthly Meets I have hosted I think we will pretty much be taking over the whole place!

Food is available. Since our previous event here there has been a change of ownership (again!!). The menu is still not particularly exhaustive but is a great improvement! They only have a small kitchen and if everyone turns up at 18:30 and orders food then there might be quite a wait! They said that they would take all orders as they come in but can't produce 40 meals in an instant so please be patient.

Would you please indicate on your "Will Attend" log whether you intend to eat, so that I can give the pub a rough idea of numbers.

These monthly mid-week cache events in Sussex have been running for some time now. They are now into the eighth year, and they have become solid fixtures in the diaries of Cachers across the South East. This meet is open to all Cachers from near and far. New Cachers are always particularly welcome. It's a great chance to put faces to names. If you need help with a hard to find cache, a technical problem or an unfathomable puzzle, there will almost certainly be someone who will be able to help you. So please don't be shy. Come along and introduce yourself.

The events are scheduled to take place on the third Wednesday of each month, at different locations across Sussex. Each event is hosted by a different Cacher or caching team. Anyone who feels the urge to host one of these events, please contact Tootsie's Trackers via his profile.
