Puerto Vallarta - Manuel Lepe Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Bad Man Jose: I have recently moved from PV and am no longer able to provide the necessary maintenance for my caches. Since there are no other local cachers to adopt these or help out, I am archiving when necessary. Many thanks to all who have visited over the years and have helped out with maintenance along the way. Much appreciated.

Geocache Description:

A quick 2-stage multi along Puerto Vallarta's amazing malecon.

Use extreme STEALTH in retrieving and replacing the container and re-hide as found. If retrieval is impossible or the cache seems to be missing, e-mail me your final coordinates for permission to log as found

The posted coordinates take you to a 143-tile mosaic -- "Fishmongers" (1981) -- by Manuel Lepe (click) Illustrious Son of Puerto Vallarta and Mexico's National Artist.

some text"

You need to answer the following questions with regard to the mosaic in order to find the second stage and the cache container:

1. How many fish are represented in the mural? (A)

2. How many crabs? (B)

3. How many boats? (C)

4. How many "palapas"? (D)

Add (A+B+C+D) to get "X" and use it in the following equation to get the final cache coordinates:

N 20 36.(X + 97) W 105 14.(X + 288)

Checksum: N=18, W=20

NOTE:

Extreme stealth is required!

1. ¿Cuántos peces están representados en el mural? (A)

2. ¿Cuántos cangrejos? (B)

3. ¿Cuántos barcos? (C)

4. ¿Cuántas palapas? (D)

N 20 36. (X + 97) W 105 14. (X + 288)

Suma de verificación: N = 18, W = 20

Se requiere sigilo absoluto!
