Leap Valley is a hidden Open Space off Badminton Road. It is owned by South Gloucestershire Council and managed by the Friends Group. It forms part of a wildlife corridor linking the River Frome through to Emersons Green.
This multi cache is part 2 of the Leap series, that takes you on a lovely walk through the Leap Valley to a footpath / cycleway. As there are a variety of existing caches in this area, to be able to bring these additional Little Bridges to avid cachers enjoyment, we have had to place the final cache further afield.
Gather the following information close to the bridge site:
On the grassed area, near the bridge, is a raised drainage cover: A=___ how many metal triangular pieces. BC=____ how many small, complete squares on one half of the metal cover. (Don't count partial squares).
On the nearby Warning Sign: D=___ how many capital red letters in one word on the sign. EF=___ how many letters in what may be seized. G=___ how many letters in who are giving the warning.
On the green refuse bin: H=___ how many vertical gaps in the access door. IJ=____ how many vertical gaps around the whole green bin.
Checksum for answers: 28

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.
