Laissez-moi vous raconter l’histoire de la caserne Borgnis-Debordes.
Construite en 1854, elle abritait l’artillerie de la Garde sous le Second Empire.
Le 27 Aout 1941, Pierre Laval, notre chef collabo du gouvernement de Vichy se fait tirer dessus dans cette caserne. Alors qu’il passait en revue le premier contingent de la LVF, la légion des volontaires français contre le bolchevisme (combattant dans la wehrmacht sous uniforme allemand), le résistant Paul Colette tire sur sa cible devant les caméras.

Le 18 Aout 1944, boum badaboum, un soldat allemand manipulant un panzerfaust fait exploser un dépôt de munition, tuant 120 hommes et détruisant la moitié de la caserne.
Elle est rasée à la Libération, le lieu devient un terrain vague, puis un parking.
