Geocache Description:

The cache location is inside the Okehampton range and access will be limited to non-firing times; the timetable can be found here. Warning signals, red flags by day and red lamps by night, indicate that live firing is taking place within the range boundaries, which are marked by red and white poles. When warning signals are displayed do not cross the range boundary.

Please re hide the cache EXACTLY as you found it. Please do NOT leave any hints or spoiler pictures; any such logs WILL BE DELETED.

One of the nicer Tors on the north moor; one which I have been on and past many, many times.

On a clear day you can see for miles taking in Yes Tor, West Mill Tor, Rowtor, Oke Tor down to Steeperton in the south east. I once tabbed back up here, miles out of my way to retrieve my scrim netting which I had left behind earlier that morning.

Enjoy the views!

Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all bylaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, marker posts, flags, lights or manned control posts.
