Geocache Description:

Number 529 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rule is that they have to be able to be photographed together, and the phone boxes have to be red.

Crux Easton is a hamlet in the Ashmansworth civil parish of Hampshire about 7 miles (11 km) south of Newbury, Berkshire.

There is a wind engine at Crux Easton that was made by John Wallis Titt in about 1892.

During the Second World War, the British Union of Fascists leader Sir Oswald Mosley bought Crux Easton House, where he and his wife Diana were placed under house arrest in 1944.

You are looking for a 5 ml tube, tweezers maybe useful and you will need to bring your own pen.

The cache is not inside the phone box.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication.

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via at geocachingafinepair@gmail.com to have yours added.
