Wysokie drzewa dorastają tu niekiedy do ogromnych rozmiarów, a ich jasne ulistnienie z dala odznacza się na tle innych zadrzewień. Odróżnia się zwłaszcza od ulistnienia klonu jesionolistnego – częstego, acz nieproszonego gościa w łęgach.
