This is random camping, which means: don't expect any facilities. There is an outhouse close to the event posted coords, but it's of unknown condition. There's no running water, unless you count the creek which isn't too far away. And of course, no electricity or hookups. On the plus side however, it costs nothing and we can enjoy a fire with wood freshly pulled from the forest - assuming there's no fire ban. We'll need to pack out all our garbage when we're done.
The event officially runs from Friday, May 6 at 6pm thru Sunday, May 8 at 10am. Stay for one night or both, or just drop by to say hello, and enjoy a weekend out in the boondocks. There's no agenda, and checkout time on Sunday is whenever. I plan to arrive a day early to secure the spot and get settled in. You're welcome to as well, but please let me know if arriving early, so I'll know whether that rig over there belongs to one of us.
Bring lawn chairs, food, beverages, everything you'll need. And if you're going power-trailing, a full tank of gas! (Cynthia, directly east, appears to have gas.)
Location is subject to last-minute change, in case of surprises like logging (!) or simply the spot being occupied, so keep an eye on the cache page before setting out (I'll post a note if I can get signal), and look for a geocaching-logo sign as you approach the event coords in case of detour.
See OpenStreetMap family (under "Leaflet") for these trails.
The last bit of road has some deep-ish puddles, so if you're bringing a low-clearance car, maybe keep left at WHY and take the "Okay" route past room with a view. Large RVs may wish to brave the puddles on the main road because it's straight and wide.
