About Montpelier Station


Welcome to Montpelier.
This station opened in 1874 and used to have two platforms.
More goods were being handled here than passengers needing nearly 20 staff.
The station is on the Severn Beach line from Bristol temple meads the Avonmouth with a few services continuing to Severn Beach.
Today this station is one platform and unstaffed and station building is nowhat in private use.

There is a community mural on the station and is worth a visit.
