Come on out and celebrate Square Root Day with us. If you miss this event you'll need to wait until May 5, 2025 for the next Square Root Day. Square Root Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated on days when both the day of the month and the month are the square root of the last two digits of the year. For example, the last Square Root Day was March 3, 2009 (3/3/09), and the next Square Root Day will be May 5, 2025 (5/5/25). You really don't want to miss this opportunity to observe one of nerddom's major holidays.
So, what does this mean to geocachers? Well, mainly it's an opportunity to get together and party.
