Geocache Description:

My first CITO event I hope you can make it!

Kilkenny Bay 10am - 12noon Sunday 17th April

Park at the waypoint parking (there is no parking charge) and head to the grassy area to the right of the Windmill Inn where I will be waiting, equipped with litter pickers, bags and gloves provided by North Somerset Council.

From there head down to the beach and get litter picking!  Meet back in the car park at 12 noon with your litter where North Somerset Council have agreed to let us leave it in a now disused recycling point – a council lorry will collect the following day.

Whilst we are being provided with equipment by the council feel free to bring along your own.  In particular if anyone is able to bring a wheel barrow in their car this may be useful – it’s a steep climb back up from the beach.

Suitable footwear is a must and any children must be fully supervised – you don’t know what we might find.  Please also bring a drink with you, although there are refreshments nearby for afterwards, and wet wipes incase you need to clean your hands.

Low tide will be at 10.30am approx.  However I will check the tide times nearer the day in case the time of the clean up needs to be adjusted.

Thank you to North Somerset Council for their help to arrange this CITO event.
