Geocache Description:

A short beautiful woodland hike on a well defined trail that runs along Judge Branch

This cache is 1.2 miles out Judge Branch Trail (white blaze) at the west bound bend. You can avoid steep rock steps in the deep snow or ice if you take the South Old Mac trail (yellow blaze)and bear right onto Judge Branch (white blaze).  The beauty of this hike and the exercise make earning the smiley face extra great!  There are many well kept and scenic trails in this 24,000 acre park so feel free to continue up the trail to the summit and explore. It is a good idea to print off a map.

Wether you've arrived at this cache from the Judge Branch Trail or the Old South Mac, you have no doubt enjoyed the view! When you get to your destination you will be hunting a 2 cup sized container that can hold a small travel bug or treasure. It is on the opposite side of the creek from the scenic rock stairs and tricky to find so that it won't get muggled. Please return this cache to it's invisible position so we don't lose it.
