Geocache Description:

Dinosaurs once roamed this land. Proof of their existence can be found along this cliff overhang evidenced by a 149 million year-old "Dinosaur Track Way." Red Fleet State Park is known for its fishing and boating recreational opportunities, but make time to hike around the dinosaur track way, and bike on the miles and miles of trails on the north end of the park. Red Fleet State Park earned its name because of its red sandstone formations, which look like a fleet of ships floating in and around the reservoir. This state park is popular with boaters, water sport enthusiasts, anglers, bikers, hikers, and families. Dinosaurs are also a popular attraction, with 200 known tracks in the park dating from as far back as 149 million years.  A 2.5 mile round-trip hike leads to the best viewing of the tracks. Tracks are also accessible by watercraft. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards are available to rent at the state park pay station.
