There has been a Church on Rowan Road since 1930, when the then "Full Gospel Church" was opened debt-free. The church's affiliation to the Assemblies of God, which is a Pentecostal denomination, can be traced back to those days.
Since then, the Church has gone through many changes. In 1993, the then Pastor renamed the Church "Marantha Pentecostal Christian Fellowship". The current name was adopted in 2004. In 2015, the 85th Anniversary was celebrated with a community barbecue.
