O pico Abrólhos está localizado em Porto de Cima e faz parte do conjunto Marumbi. Com 1200 metros de altitude, fornece uma vista inesquecível .

A Trilha / The Trail
A trilha tem um nível técnico elevado e exige preparo físico considerável, são pouquíssimas partes onde não é necessário o uso das mãos. Há também diversos trechos com cordas, correntes e grampos. O estado de convervação é ótimo, contando com setas e fitas para indicar o caminho, não havendo necessidade de guia.
The trail has an elevated technical difficulty and requires the geocacher to be relatively prepared, there are only a few parts where the hands are not used. There also also many sections with ropes, chains and staples. It is very well maintained and includes arrows and pieces of tape showing the way, a guide is not required.

Entre na estrada das prainhas, seguindo até o posto do IAP. Se seu carro não for 4x4, é aqui onde deve estacionar.

Do posto do IAP das Prainhas até aqui, demora quase uma hora à pé. Basta fazer novo registro do grupo no posto do lado da entrada da trilha e seguir até o geocache. Note que os tempos estimados na placa podem ser um bocado otimistas para alguns.
Existe também a possibilidade de chegar de trem aqui. A Serra Verde Express traz passageiros, mas os preços são altos e os horários, incovenientes. O que pode exigir uma pernoitada no camping do lado da estação para voltar de trem.
It is also possible to get here by train. Serra Verde Express brings passengers, but the prices are high and the timetable, inconvenient. It might be necessary to spend the night at the camping site next to the train station to be able to take the train back.
It talks almost an hour to walk from IAP's Prainhas office here. Reregister your group at the office next to the trailhead and head towards the geocache. Note that the time estimates on the sign might be a bit optimistic for some.
Precauções/Precautions
- Não subestime a montanha, o caminho pode se mostrar mais difícil do que você esperava.
- Don't underestimate the montain, the path might be harder than you expected.
- Não faça a trilha sozinho, você pode se ver em uma situação onde ninguém pode ajudá-lo.
- Don't come alone, you might find yourself in a situation where nobody is there to help you.
- Traga uma lanterna. O dia é mais curto no mato e é difícil prever sua performance na trilha.
- Bring a flashlight. The day is shorter in the woods and it's hard to predict one's performance on the trail.
