Wanted everyone to have a chance at getting their digitial souvenir for Leap Day and a Leap Year Event before the long 1,461 day wait to get another chance at it. Groundspeak will not allow you to use the Leap Day Event as a Leap Day cache. You will need to find a separate cache between the 27th and 29th and attend todays event to get both souvenirs. Don't worry though! There are several caches within Creamer's Field, one as close as 100' away from the event site.
Come on out to Creamer's Field on Leap Day, Monday, February 29, 2016 sometime between 5 and 6pm to meet your fellow geocachers and welcome in the start of another 4 years of great geocaching in the interior (and beyond!!). No need to bring anything other than your geo nametag so everyone can "discover" you and any travel bugs you want to share!
