This geocache is part of a three-cache trail through Odell Great Wood, which can be windy and muddy and has several uphill sections. Our aim was to encourage more people to one of our favourite short circular walks in the area, going from Odell to Harrold-Odell country park (great place for coffee and cake or lunch) and then on a loop through Odell Great Wood, but then we realised we couldn't put caches in the wood itself (it's a SSSI). Our suggested parking for this circular walk is available at both Harrold-Odell Country Park and in a small public parking bay in Odell (with additional parking in a pub car park). If you want to do a cache 'N' dash, then you could find closer parking on the road from Odell to Harrold. Happy hunting!
