This cache is hidden in the heart of a special place for me. Growing up I caught my first fish here and spent many an afternoon (and one night) fishing. I also had my first kiss here... but I was not fishing at the time!
Long Copse Ponds are of two ponds which together total one and a quarter acres. It is situated at the junction of Eastwick Drive and Spring Grove in Great Bookham, Surrey. The pond is easily accessible from the road with plenty of parking.
It can support up to 14 anglers and contains plenty of common and mirror carp from 2 to 14 pounds with the occasional ghost carp. Double figure fish are often caught.
