Geocache Description:

The last and easiest of a trio of puzzles se in sunny Porthcawl. the final coordinates are not at the position posted above but are but a short walk away.

In my youth a mini railway ran the length of the Eastern Prom and became an essential part of a trip to the seaside. It is sadly no more but some artefacts can still be found if you are interested,

The coordinates for the final can be found by working out two schoolday Pythagoras problems!

1. What is the length, to the nearest meter of the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle if the other two sides measure 332 meters and 512 meters? Call this number ABC.

2. In another right angled triangle, one side is 15 cm long, another 17cm. the third side is shorter than the other two. How long is it? Call this D.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

The cache can be found at N51 28.ABC W003. 42.00D.
