Pokusné televízne vysielanie v bývalom Československu sa začalo v roku ABCD s týmto monoskopom dnes už neexistujúcej televízie
a 25.februára nasledujúceho roku bol vyhlásený oficiálny začiatok pravidelného vysielania.
Pravidelné televízne vysielanie na Slovensku sa začalo z Bratislavy v roku 1956. Keď vznikla samostatná Slovenská republika, vysielala Slovenská televízia na dvoch programoch pre celé územie Slovenska. V čase otvorenia letných olympijských hier v Pekingu sa začalo vysielanie ďalšieho programu verejnoprávnej televízie s týmto monoskopom:
Tento program však nemal dlhé trvanie, jeho vysielanie sa definitívne ukončilo na konci júna roku FGHI.
Na Slovensku rýchlo vznikali aj súkromné televízie. Asi si už nepamätáte logo jednej z prvých, ktorá vysielala v káblových rozvodoch aj cez satelit, a teda pre celé územie Slovenska. Začala vysielať v roku JKLM a zanikla v roku PQRS.

This channel however did not operate for a long time and disappeared at the end of June FGHI.
Private television channels were also originating quickly. You may already not remember the following logo of one of the first of them to broadcast in cable networks and also via satellite, thus covering all the territory of Slovakia. It started broadcasting in the year JKLM and disappeared in PQRS.
