Winter weather comes with new challenges for geocachers. Shorter days, freezing temperatures, and snow covered caches just to name a few things. Why not take a break from your cold cache pursuits and come warm up with us for our 2016 NoVAGO Winter Event. You do not have to be a member of NoVAGO to attend. It doesn't matter if you're new to the game and have yet to make that first find or if you have thousands, everyone is welcome! New to the area? Visiting from out of town? Feel free to join us for our annual winter celebration!
There will be room to mingle and socialize as you greet old caching friends and make some new ones while snacking until your heart's content! This is a potluck event (optional),
so please post the breakfast or brunch item that you'll be bringing in your "Will Attend" log. No pastry, fruit, snack, or drink will be turned away... All breakfast and or brunch items are welcome! Please Note: No cooking can be done on-site.
On top of coffee, pastries, and assorted light brunch-like delectables, we will have drawings for cache related door prizes, our traditional 50/50 Drawing, and some informative geocaching mini presentations for attendees. The Event schedule is complete and includes:
