Happy Leap Year Day! I'd like to hold an event that is closer to home and by doing so I hope to meet some geocaching members that would like to swap TB's and maybe even stories. I will have a log book for you to sign and list your TB's that you would like to trade or have discovered.
THIS EVENT IS BEING HELD OUTDOORS! DRESS ACCORDINGLY! NH WEATHER CAN BE UNPREDICTABLE SO PLEASE COME PREPARED. This is my first event! I'm excited and anxious all at once. I know Leap Year Day is on a Monday which makes attending an event difficult for those who have to work but I'm hoping we still have a decent turn out. Please let me know how many people will be attending with you when you log the event. Parking is limited to Reservation Rd in the Winter because the gates are closed after the first snow. I'm hoping by this time we will have plenty of snow that some of you might be able to arrive on snowmobiles like I'm hoping to do. If not just park nearby the posted coords and THANKS FOR COMING! When: Feb 29 2016 Where: Pawtuckaway State Park (Reservation Rd) Time: 1pm - 2pm Why: I'd like to meet some geocaching members. Bonus: You earn 1 of the 2 Leap Year souvenirs by attending this event :) Second souvenir earned if you grab a cache in the same day (in case you didn't know).
