Event Details:
Who's ready for another CITO?! Who's ready to clean up K-Bay one more time? Our Legion of cachers were out here last year on 31 Dec 2015. If you missed that day, you won't want to miss this!
If you made it to any of the other neighborhood CITO's, you know the drill. This will be another early morning rise and trek out to the boondocks of Kahaluu/Heeia again.
Most of you will note, this CITO is being held on a early morning workday. Unless you have the means to alter your schedule, I believe most of you will not be able to attend...unless you are some crazy die-hard and enjoy playing hookie from work, family and other socially constructed Life circumstances.
All you need to do is show up at the respective time and place with: gloves, sunblock, a hat, covered shoes, personal water and a gung-ho attitude to clean up this area of operation. Your neighborhood leprechaun will be providing trash bags and extra gloves.
***Please note we will be crossing Kamehameha Highway. Be advised that while we are engaged in a major clean up, I want everyone to maintain situational awareness -- SAFETY FIRST along the road way. Just like hunting for other caches near roads, there will remain inherent risk to our game. While I don't recommend bringing children to help clean up roads, I believe it is the choice of the parent/legal guardian. If you bring children, be sure they're accounted for at all times.Your neighborhood leprechaun will not be held liable for any injury, shenanigans, malarkey or death upon to you or your family members. You geocache at your own risk at these sanctioned CITO's.***
FYI, Groundspeak has created a special souvenir which can only be earned on Leap Day itself by attending a geocaching event. You can receive it by attending this CITO!
