Also called Harter Tor.
Hart Tor sits in the centre of Walkhampton Common and is clearly seen from the nearby B3212 Princetown road. About 100m north of the tor is a disused rifle range originating from the early 1800s. The 'yardage markers' are still visible. This whole area is littered with Tinner's Gullies.
