IgnotusPeverell: Greetings,

I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

It appears the geocache, and the geocache owner have moved on - so this cache is being archived.

Geocache Description:

From Silver City, go North on Highway 15 through Pinos Altos to Ben Lilly Memorial and Hike less than 1 mile.

The "treasure" is a CD Rom contained in a 5" diameter by 10" long plastic container. The CD Rom contains photos of the Gila Lower Box area north of Lordsburg, NM, photos of Joshua Tree National Park in California near 29 Palms, and a file containing one year’s accumulation of short stories and jokes that were saved from E-Mail.

The Cache is located in the back of a small shelter cave, behind a piece of juniper firewood. There are two rooms to this shelter. The one with big opening is the cache site. Start hiking from the parking area for the Ben Lilly Memorial, or from any of the pull-off areas within the next 1/2 mile. You will cross Cherry creek, which has water most of the time, and go through some areas of huge boulders. After crossing Cherry Creek, go up a major side canyon about ½ way to the mountain before turning left to look for the site.
